Grub Lake Outpost Camp - Closed
Grub Lake is not only a Northern Pike Lake; it's a great Northern Pike Lake. Grub Lake is located in a very remote part of North Eastern Ontario. Access to this drive-to lake is via an old logging road. This outpost camp is of the same quality as our fly-in camps being that it is the only cabin on the lake. You will enjoy total privacy, without the added cost of the fly-in.
The cabin on Grub Lake has just been built in the summer of 2006 and is a very roomy cabin that will sleep up to six people very comfortably. The cabin is fully equipped the same as our fly-in camps, all you need to bring is your sleeping bag, food and drink, bait, tackle and a change of clothes. We provide you with a fully equipped cabin, boat motor and gas per two people and one of our staff members to guide you into your cabin on Grub Lake.
As mentioned, Grub Lake is in a very remote area with miles and miles of old logging roads, and has many remote lakes in the area to fish as well. So for those of you with ATV's this is a excellent area to explore the many miles of logging roads, which will also give you access to these remote lakes. Enjoy fishing a different lake every day of the week. A map of the area will be provided. |

If you would like to keep your cost down and have your own boat and motor, feel free to bring them along. Call for pricing on cabin only. You will need your ATV to transport your boat in and out of Grub Lake and any of the remote lakes in the area. So you must be equipped with a boat rack or small trailer. 12' or 14' foot car top boats are all that are required.
North Eastern Ontario is well known for its large population of Grouse. The many miles of old logging roads available makes for an excellent Grouse Hunting area.
