Float Plane and Base:

Our seaplane base is located right in the town Chapleau Ontario.

We fly off the Chapleau river. All of our flights are 30-45 minutes.

There is a 100 lbs per person weight allowance, total of 400 lbs for groups of four people. Any deviation from allowance weight would create an extra flight. No exceptions! Just be careful how you and your group pack, try not to double up on gear.

Location:

All our lakes are located 30 to 55 miles south of Chapleau Ontario. Chapleau is located 3.5 hours Northeast of Canada-US border at Sault Ste. Marie and 9.5 hours from Buffalo NY border. View contact page for road maps

Reservation & Deposit

Reservation should be made well in advance for a specific week and lake. Please mention name of lake and type of fish you desire, and number of persons in your party. A $200.00 deposit per person is required. Deposit due within ten days of making reservation. Personal check for deposit only. Balance is due in cash, certified check, travelers check or bank draft prior to your flight in. Taxes will be charged on trips as applicable. Cancellation deposit to be used towards next years trip.

What we provide at our remote outpost cabins:

• 7 night 8 day stay
• Flight in and out, via the legendary BEAVER bush plane from our Chapleau base.
• Boat, motor,(+ spare) gas, paddles, anchors.
• Propane fridges
• Life jackets, adult sizes only.
• Propane Stove and lights.
• Gas BBQ's with propane.
• Outdoor chairs.
• Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses.
• Foam mattresses.
• Wood burning stove for heat (fire wood will be supplied).
• Mid-week check flights available upon request only. Please call for pricing.

What guests should bring:

• Flash light.
• Dish towels and soap.
• 10 heavy duty garbage bags.
• Coleman lantern.
• Back pack
• Food and liquids to personal taste.
• Personal toiletries, towels, pillow, sleeping bag.
• Fishing gear, bait & license.
• First aid kit.
• Insect repellent (high DEET content recommended)
• Bug jacket or bug hat.
• Sun tan lotion (SPF 15 or better)
• Hiking Boots
