Black Bear Hunting
Chapleau has the very best Black Bear Hunting in the world. That is well known. Our Black Bear hunting packages includes bear validation tag for each person in your party. All bear hunts will operate out of Kanipahow Resort.
We cater to Rifle, Bow and Black Powder (Muzzleloader) hunters.
Included:
- Fully equipped accommodations at Kanipahow Resort on the Chapleau River
- Bear validation tag for each person in party
- Active baited sites, all baiting material
- Boat and motor will be supplied in the case of hunts being done off of the river.
- Site location & tree stand set up help

You Supply:
- Food, personal items, dish soap and dish cloth
- lantern, flash lights and extra batteries
- good quality sharp knifes and meat saw
- Zip lock bags and garbage bags
- 2 large coolers for transporting the meat
- Tree stand
- all hunting and licenses are extra
- camera & film
- Hunter Orange hunting clothes that should be worn to and from hunting area
- Warm clothes, rain gear & rubber boots
- ATV if you wish to bring one.
- Fishing rod and fishing gear
